Tri-Med Ambulance
The ambulance services at Electra Memorial Hospital provide service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With two licensed providers in each unit, the ambulances are staffed with full- and part-time emergency medical professionals that consist of EMTs, EMT Intermediates and EMT Paramedics. The primary unit is staffed with in-house personnel and supplemented with on-call personnel.
The ambulance service is licensed through the Texas Department of Health as a medical provider. Each ambulance is equipped with basic life support and mobile intensive care unit capabilities. All licensed personnel perform life saving procedures through protocols established by the medical director. Our ambulance service provides services to the western portion of Wichita County covering 162 square miles.

Electra Tri-Med Ambulance Service purchased a new ambulance in September with funds that included a partial grant from USDA, as well as funds from the City of Electra and Wichita County. The ambulance replaced a 13-year old vehicle and serves the Electra Hospital District and surrounding area.
